Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, which is based in Media, Pennsylvania, provides students with a broad range of programs, including programs in computer-related professions. P.I.T.'s main campus is located in Media, Pennsylvania, but P.I.T. also has a Center City campus in downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is a career-training school whose purpose is to prepare students to enter the workforce directly, or transfer to a four-year university degree upon completing a P.I.T. program.

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is an independent two-year college, but P.I.T. students have a variety of flexible education options. P.I.T. students can take advantage of a dual admissions agreement with Drexel University, and articulation with 14 other local four-year institutions. Students at P.I.T. can choose to enter the workforce directly upon completing their programs with a career certificate or associate's degree, or they may be able to transfer their credits to a local university to apply them to a four-year degree education. Students can complete certificate programs in as little as 12 months.
P.I.T. focuses on providing students with the real-world skills that they'll need to succeed in new careers, or advance in existing careers. Through P.I.T. programs, students learn hands-on skills and gain experience with real-world equipment in P.I.T.'s classrooms and labs. Many of the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology career certificates and associate's degrees provide students with an externship to gain real-world, hands-on experience in their chosen fields. P.I.T. students have a 94% job placement rate after graduation.
Pennsylvania Institute of Technology offers associate degree programs in Computer and Communication Technology, or Computer Software and Information Technology. P.I.T. also offers a list of certificates in industry-standard IT certifications, including CISCO CNA, MCSE, CompTIA+, and many other relevant IT professional certifications.
