Philosophy
All students take degree specific classes as well as core classes. A foundation in computer training and workplace readiness is provided by these courses, which ensures that graduates do not come out of Missouri Tech without acquiring the knowledge and understanding to put their education to professional use in the future.
Learning Environment
Missouri Tech believes that learning happens naturally in an enjoyable and stimulating environment. The faculty of the institution is able to provide personal attention to every student both in and outside the classroom, based on a student teacher ratio of 12 to 1. Students can plan their classes around their schedules, thanks to the flexible class schedule.
Financial Aid
Missouri Tech can help find funding for anyone who really wants an education. The Financial Assistance Department will help you with the different types of financial assistance. If you qualify, you do not have to repay a federal grant. There are Pell Grants available for those with financial need. No matter what your status is for other programs, low to middle income families can also get student loans.

Bachelor of Science in Network Administration Security (BSNS)
This program's goal is to give students a set of career tools that combines knowledge with hands-on experience and the application of theory to issues in the field of information technology. The program stays up-to-date with dynamic technological innovations, with classes focusing on routers, wireless security, database administration, and different aspects of systems security. Our coursework focuses on quantitative and communication proficiencies along with furnishing a basis in business practices. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a Bachelor's of Science degree in Network Administration Security.
In this program, we prepare students for entry-level employment in capacities including network administrator, computer support specialist, computer systems analyst, computer system engineer, and network security professional.
Prerequisites
Enrollment is open to students who have achieved Missouri Tech's AAS in Network Administration diploma or its equivalent.
The minimum time to complete the course is thirty-two months. It is possible to finish the program in as little as 32 months or 136 weeks, breaks included. Students must finish the associate's degree along with a minimum of 65.5 credit hours totaling 129 credit hours. The lab time needed to gain a four-year degree is about 480 hours. Theory time is about 1695 hours.
Associate of Applied Science in Network Administration (NTAAS)
Objective
The particular objective of this program is to train and educate students in the area of computer network administration. Being able to install, maintain and troubleshoot computer and network systems are skills graduates will gain. Once they have graduated, students will acquire the Associate of Applied Science degree in Network Administration.
People who graduate from this program are qualified for entry level technical and managerial jobs in network administration. Careers can be picked from a vast selection of industries such as manufacturing, medical, education, government and the Internet.
Requirements
In order to enroll in this program, students must have a high school diploma, or a GED certificate and a grade of 70% or better on the entrance exam.
Length of Course
The program consists of two academic years, each of which is comprised of four semesters, with each semester including two 8 week terms. The least amount of time it will take to finish a program is 16 months (68 weeks with breaks). Completion of at least 63.5 credit hours is required by pupils. Around 315 hours in the lab are needed to complete the coursework, with 795 hours for theory.
Network Administration Diploma or DNTA
This course of study requires 1 1/2 years to complete. It is comprised of three semesters of two 8-week terms each. The minimum time to complete the course is twelve months. Students must complete at least 48 credit hours. Theory time is 585 hours. Lab time for the complete program is about 270 hours.
Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering (BSSE)
This program aims to develop students’ academic, social and technical skills so they can be effective in programmer-analyst, project management, and other related careers. Students will earn the Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering degree at the time of graduation.
Graduates will be able to get entry level jobs as practicing engineers. Technical businesses have many positions available that require expertise in software and data systems, like communications, manufacturing, medical technology, and the web.
Requirements
Students may apply to this program if they have completed Missouri Tech Associate of Applied Science in Software Engineering or the equivalent.
Length of Course
The program takes eight semesters, which is four academic years. The program takes at least 32 months including breaks. You need to complete the Associate's degree as well as a minimum of 66 credit hours, which is about 131.5 credit hours. You will have to complete over 400 hours for your four-year degree.
Associate of Applied Science in Software Engineering (SAAS)
The aim of Associate of Applied Science in Software Engineering (SAAS) program is to train individuals with proven methods involving development and maintainability of software applications and data systems. After you graduate, you will have an Associate of Applied Science in Software Engineering.
Graduates of the Software Engineering program will be able to accept entry-level technical and managerial positions in several industries, such as software maintenance and development, software systems engineering, database administration, and Web development.
Requirements
To enter this program, you must have either a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate and a 70% passing grade on the entrance exam.
Length of Course
The program is four semesters long, with each contain two eight week terms. 16 months (68 weeks, breaks included) is the minimum amount of time students will spend to complete the program. You will have to finish at least 65.5 credit hours. There are about 345 hours of lab time and 810 hours of theory.
