The Computer Support Technician diploma program provides students with the basic education that they need to begin entry-level jobs in various computer professions. Upon successful completion of the Computer Support Technician diploma program, students are prepared for career opportunities as a help desk specialist, a computer lab coordinator, a hardware installer, a computer salesperson, or another computer-related profession. Students engage in group discussions, lectures, and hands-on demonstrations to learn about computer programs, network systems, hardware and software.

The Associate of Applied Science degree program in Computer Networking Technology is a degree program that provides students with a more comprehensive introduction to a computer-related career. After completing the associate degree program, students will be prepared to handle the responsibilities of installing and maintaining computer networks, troubleshooting hardware and software programs, managing databases, developing Web pages, and providing network security. Students can go on to work in government agencies, software publishing companies, professional and technical services industries, and many other employment opportunities.

To qualify for admission to Kaplan College, students must be high school graduates, or provide proof of GED or other equivalency certificate. Students may be requested to submit additional documentation to demonstrate compliance with admissions requirements. Students may be eligible for federal and state financial aid, and should complete a FAFSA to determine eligibility. A financial aid advisor can help students navigate options to pay for a Kaplan College education.
