The Computer Information Science program varies slightly from state to state, but provides students with knowledge in computer programming, systems development, computer hardware, operating systems, and the business and accounting aspects of computer information systems. Graduates of the Computer Information Science program may go on to become database administrators, network technicians, computer technicians, or many more.

The Computer Information Science Bachelor of Science degree program provides students with a more comprehensive computer-related background. Students receive specialized training in development, analysis, and design for database management systems and computer information systems. Students learn computer languages, including Visual Basic, C++, or Java. Graduates go on to become computer programmers, computer technicians, network administrators, or join one of many other exciting computer-related careers.

With campuses in over 20 states, the Everest network of schools has many potential campus locations for students interested in a computer science program. Everest also offers an online branch for students who are unable to attend a local campus. Students who are interested in attending Everest Institute should contact their local campus for a tour, and to schedule an appointment with an admissions advisor. Interested students can complete an application to begin the admissions process. Potential applicants must complete a career placement assessment, and qualifying students may be eligible for federal and state financial aid.
