Through the course of the program at Career College of Northern Nevada, students assemble and troubleshoot a desktop computer that they get to keep. Students who successfully complete the Electronic Engineering Technician and Computer Technology Training program are ready to go on to careers such as electronic technician, electronic assembler, computer technician, network administration, and other exciting electronic and computer careers.
Because of this dual-focus in the associate's degree program, students who are interested exclusively in computer-related coursework may wish to attend a program at another school. The CCNN program provides a basic, well-rounded education that serves well in both disciplines, but may not include the in-depth knowledge some students are seeking.
