School Program Accreditation
The Medical Assisting program at The Berks Technical Institute is accredited by CAAHEP.
Each year, the Berks Technical Institute gives out more than $85,000 in merit-based scholarships to rising college freshman who want to attend BTI. In order to qualify for a scholarship, the student must take the school's scholarship test as a high school senior. BTI encourages seniors interested in further education to take the scholarship test.
At BTI, the excellent Career Services staff will help you develop your resume, draft cover letters, prepare for interviews, and even conduct a mock interview to help you hone your skills. Career Services is notified by career employees when they are hiring. Berk's Technical Institute distributes their graduates resumes to potential employers.
Internet/Networking Engineering Degree Courses
Students in the Internet/Network Engineering program emerge well-prepared for careers in the exciting field of IT. The degree program enables a student to get the educational foundation for gaining the required knowledge and skills which are considered to be part of the information technology program.
The career training starts with lectures and classes that are hands-on and covers the fundamentals of hardware and software. Building on the fundamentals of hardware and software, students will gain the networking knowledge they'll utilize to explore the many different aspects of the construction and administration of Local Area Networks (LANs), and Wide Area Networks (WANs). In addition to classroom lectures, students will experience hands-on training with multiple versions of Windows, Linux, and Novell Netware network operating systems, as well as training in TCP/IP connectivity with routers and switches. Courses in computer logic and script writing; Microsoft visual BASIC; help desk and user support concepts; network planning; and more ensure that the students emerge with a highly developed and wide ranging set of skills. Students who wish to pursue MSCE Certification will benefit from our INE capstone program courses.

The INE program produces qualified computer technicians with the ability to adapt and advance in the rapidly developing IT field.

The curriculum adapts to fulfill the needs and requirements of today's employers. The programs will get the student ready for certification testing, like MCSE Certification.
