There are seven facilities within the campus to help meet your needs in the areas of academics, athletics, recreation and social life. Five linked buildings comprise the main complex. St. Clare, the Science Building, the Library, St. Francis and also Regis. Durham Hall and Durgin Educational Center are just a brief walk away.

What academic opportunities does the University provide?

A Bachelor of Arts degree is granted by Ashford University and the subjects of study include fourteen different majors varying from Accounting through Visual Arts. Choose from nine majors like biology, health science, or natural science. You might want a Bachelor of Applied Science degree that is focused on a core subject. You can also add a minor to any of these Bachelor's degree programs.

People who have finished undergraduate work can pursue a master's degree in organizational management or business administration.

What activities does Ashford offer its students?

Outside of the classroom, there are plenty of opportunities for both social and recreational activities. Ashford University has a lot of clubs and organizations to get involved with on campus. On campus, there are many student organizations, including event planning committees, honor societies, service organizations, support groups and recreational clubs.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics

Students now have the option of obtaining a teaching certificate in secondary mathematics when they work toward completing their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics at Ashford University. Our recently re-designed program is flexible enough to give the student the chance to individualize the degree towards computer programming, applied mathematics, or teaching in mathematics. Students in this course choose one out of three different areas to concentrate on - either computer science, mathematics or education. In this program, students learn to solve problems creatively and effectively, with logic, reasoning, and the application of computer and mathematics skills. Students that graduate from this program are ready to work in the government, teach in secondary schools, or further advance their studies through graduate work.

Management Information Systems and Computer Graphic Design are offered as additional options in the field of computer science.

In order to give our students every chance to broaden and enrich their educations, there are 18 minors offered through the University. A minor study program is different from, yet supplements, the student's major study program. Minors can serve as focuses for electives, ways to explore alternate careers, preparation for graduate work, or simply ways to study things of interest outside of a major.
