Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) with a concentration in Programming:

Completion degree online AIU Online's Bachelor of Information Technology with a concentration in Programming degree completion program online provides computer-minded students with the development of appropriate business and programming skills, the use of networks, education in data administration and the completion of IT projects. Students who have completed AIU Online's Associate of Arts in Business Administration, with a concentration in Information Systems, may be interested in our online degree completion program.

The BIT with a focus in programming completion degree online aids in readying computer-minded students to:

  • Build a dynamic user interface and content using data driven objects.
  • Get, change and add data over the web interface.
  • Utilize the fundamentals of project management in software activities.
  • Generate software specifications utilizing the requirements process.
  • Use design architecture in order to design software.

For entrance into our online BIT completion degree program, students must have an associate of science, associate of arts, or equivalent certification. To attain the equivalency requirements, a student must have finished at least 48 credits of General Education courses in addition to 42 credits of electives. If applicants do not meet these requirements, they can see the Student Affairs Department about having their college credits transferred. The evaluation for the Associate-level equivalency consists of Professional Training or Certification Credit/Experiential Learning; Standardized Assessment (CLEP, DSST, AP); Military Credit/MOS and Course Challenge Examinations.
